Hunting Jack Foundation

The Hunting Jack Foundation is committed to tracking down war criminals. When war criminals fled the country and the justice system "did nothing about this", Jack Kooistra thought, "I will do it myself". This is how the search for justice for surviving relatives was born. In total, Kooistra traced about a hundred former Nazis and collaborators, including Dutch SS members such as Adolf de Man, Klaas Epskamp and Gerardus Weimar. He also played an important role in the investigation of camp commander Herbertus Bikker (the Executioner of Ommen) and NSB member Jacob Luitjens alias the Schrik van Roden. "I thought they should still pay for what they did, even though it was a long time ago. I can not stand injustice. I fight against that. Always.''
