Jack Kooistra's latest book names 5,017 murdered Jewish children

Jack Kooistra, who died in January of this year, still had a mission: to write a book about the 5,017 innocent Jewish children (aged 0 to 16) murdered by the Nazis. Jack Kooistra no longer had time to finish the book, which was done by his son Jacques, using his father's impressive database. This book was published posthumously in early July by publisher Louise van Eddy van der Noord.

The book gives a face to the Dutch children aged zero to sixteen who were murdered in concentration camps.

On July 8th, there was a book presentation at Tresoar in Leeuwarden. Van der Noord and Jacques were present at the lecture. They discussed the background and importance of this book. Several children's stories from the book were also shared.
