The final resting place of Hunting Jack

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the urn of Jack Kooistra was placed at the Noorderbegraafplaats in Leeuwarden in the presence of Colonel G. Frijling and Major S. Smits. Jack Kooistra passed away on January 14, 2025, in his hometown of Leeuwarden.

As a token of appreciation for Dutch veterans, white carnations were placed at his final resting place.
